"The only race at Sandown that I've analysed is the Class 3 mile handicap. The over-hyped, over-bet Hassaad may give rise to a big price and a little bet about the one that is top rated on RPR/TS but which has a poor draw and hasn't won for a bit. I did think Hassad was quite impressive at Ascot, he quickened up well to challenge and then quickened again to get on top. But that wasn't a great race by any means and up 6lb he was then unlucky in-running at Ripon but so were a few in that race. You can't say that he definately has pounds in hand and he you would want to be sure of a good pace and luck in-running.
Yes far too short at 6/4
I do like Langford. Going to have another look at Tumbleweed Glory on the RP video to see if he showed any promise last time. 100/1 shot so worth haveing a closer look at. back later. Merrymadcap has decent enough figures, but a poor draw and a girl riding. 10/1 f/c was silly really but 44 strictly from a handicapping point of view looks big but still just see it. The answer is to bet at stake level that you feel comfortable with. Having as many bets as you do, I wouldn't feel comfortable betting them at the amounts that I put on, because on a bad day that could result in a loss running into four figures.
Also, it depends on your major reason for betting. Like myself, betting is not your major source of income and the satisfaction comes from beating a system that has been designed to beat you. Bet for fun but bet to win.
