The Windsor Forest is a cracker in my eyes, Satwa Queen is a real class act and if it rained I would be seriously tempted but on the forecast good ground it wouldnt take a huge imagination to see her having a go half a stride quicker than she wanted to early in the race, big chance still mind you. The 2 Cheverley Park fillies appear to be almost level, Nannina would be expected to reverse Epsom form with Echelon and its hard to forget her Coronation demolition, but she didn't really go on from that and I just wonder if that was her moment, while I can't quite have Echelon as top class when it matters, just think she'll find one to beat her, which hopefully will be Flashy Wings: Interesting stuff from the boys that reckon she might not get home as I think she's been ridden like a non-stayer ie. sat out the back to come with a (very) late flurry. If ridden with a bit more confidence (closer to pace)
I think she
could use that
flurry to pass
them all.
Finishing
strongly at both
Ascot and
Leopardstown (Nannina
and Red Evie had
respectively
gone beyond
recall) and not
running not all
badly in Dubai
where she was
never ever going
to give Admire
Moon and Co.
that amount of a
start, just
praying for a
inspired Spencer
ride. Could very
easily back 6 or
7 in the Hunt
Cup and not find
a winner, so a
few quid on Plum
Pudding who has
only ever won
races at a 1m
straight albeit
at Newmarket but
60 is still a
bit big with
good
trainer/jockey
combo.
If I was force to nominate a best bet of day 2 it would be Italian Girl despite the race being horrifically competitive and any number being in with a serious chance, its clear anytime the trainer is interviewed regarding this filly that he thinks the absoulte world of her and her trot round the course last time has been royally boosted by the 2nd, 3rd and 4th all winning races since, more Spencer magic please!......
