Mythical, Boscobel is also going to be one of my bets--I think there'll be a market move for this. I backed Pinpoint at 22-1 at about 11am of the Sat. and still had a big hcap winner at a single-figure price. This is by far my best result of the season so far. As I've traded more I've become more reliant on the DOR market, w/ bookmakers' morning odds (even if fictitious) being very helpful in indicating price ceilings.
The horses I'm most looking forward to are Ramonti (from a punting perspective) and the Australians.
Bring it on! Shouldn't mind a bit of juice if there is any, stiff 5 should suit and has form with the favourite which should mean he wouldn't be too far away. Miss A lost 12 kilos coming over and whilst i'm sure she has now regained her condition if there is and it will be found out. According to the trainer of Magnus he could not have done any better since his arrival in the UK . At 18/1 I've taken a chance and had a pt e/w to go along with my other main bet Desert Lord @ 14s. Cant have Dylan Thomas without Kinane on board, the horse needs a strong jockey.
I like Supesus, thought he ran well under a good Egan ride. The sprints are a total nightmare with draw bias unknown. Although hyped its hard to ignore the claims of Winker Watson and Yoursothrilling as both trainer have expressed so much delight over their last runs. Hoping Finsceal beo again rescues me, my only worry being soft ground, but Jim Bolger seems unconcerned and that will do for me at 9-4.Beauty Is Truth caught my eye but I actually had a few quid on another 3yr old - Dazed and Amazed (also drawn high). Got stacks to find with most of these but I was quite taken with his effort at Kempton. Would need to find the same level of improvement again just get a mention here though.
BIT definitely interesting though given how well she won and with the possibility of some ease in the ground (although I hope not for Desert Lord). Less keen on Enticing personally although the draw could scupper both chances.
