AS Roma vs Juventus
" AS Roma will be fielding their best
eleven when the capital club prepares for the visit of Serie-A
reigning champion, Juventus at Olimpico Stadium on Sunday evening.
These two clubs are currently sharing second place in the league
standings with 43 points - five points behind league leaders AC
Milan who takes on lowly Empoli today. The Giallorossi were defeated
1-0 at Brescia last weekend, and they will have to play much better
than that if they are to see off the reigning champions. Roma's
boss Fabio Capello is expected to switch his formation to 4-42
with Italy Under-21 star Gaetano D'Agostino in the starting eleven
on the left-hand side of midfield, with Italyi international duo
Francesco Totti and Antonio Cassano in attack. Olivier Dacourt
is set to be recalled to the side after his one match suspension,
while Christian Panucci should just edge out Jonathan Zebina for
a place in defence alongside Walter Samuel and Cristian Chivu
while Montella is still out with injury. Juventus will take a
short trip to the nation's capital to take on out of form Roma
at the Olimpico Sradium on Sunday evening.
The outcome of this match will most probably determine
which club could pose the challenge for AC Milan in the near future.
Marco Di Vaio scored twice in the midweek 2-2 draw against Inter
Milan in the Coppa Italia semi-final, but the Italy international
will most likely be on the bench at the Stadio Olimpico. Juve's
Alessandro Del Piero and David Trezeguet will most likely start
upfront while the much criticised Nicola Legrottaglie is set to
retain his place. Another forward, Fabrizio Miccoli will mostly
find himself on the bench as well. When these two teams clash
against each other, one thing is for certain - lots of firepower
will be involved so the best possible bet would be on OVER
2.5 Goals. "
